Occupational, Speech, & Physical Therapy for Adults and Pediatrics
Shawn has been practicing Occupational Therapy for over 21 years. He received an Advanced Master's degree in Occupational Therapy after double majoring with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Occupational Therapy. Shawn has years of experience of working with adults for general OT and hand therapy, as well as pediatric experience with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing dysfunction, and negative behaviors. Through the years he has researched sensory and reflex treatments to improve brain stimulation and processing. He focuses on looking at the entire person and treating all areas that need to be addressed.
Shawn's wife, Hailee is heavily involved with the clinic. She is their biggest support at the home raising their children, and also helps with daily needs at the clinic. She has years of front office and customer service experience. She is a licensed Aesthetician, Certified Laser Technician and a certified PT Technician. The Williams couple will work to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
Kenzie is our Front office Assistant/Patient Liaison/Tech. Kenzie is also involved in marketing for the company and frequently goes out to our physician's offices throughout the week. She is Hailee and Shawn's daughter and is also one of the K's in SHARKKS. She has worked in the medical field ever since she graduated and left her previous job as a medical assistant in plastic surgery to join our team. She can assist in almost any matter going on in the clinic and is always happy to help patients out. She has a little boy that she loves spending her time with. She has a huge love for kids, and you will always catch her sneaking over to our pediatrics side throughout the week! She loves to spend time with her friends and family on her free time and take trips with her son up north to visit her dad when she can. Kenzie treats all patients like family, and you can always count on her trying to help out with any situation.
Mindy is a new Occupational Therapy Assistant graduate. Mindy completed one of her 8 week fieldwork experiences with SHARKKS Therapy and is looking forward to starting her career here. In addition to working with patients, Mindy helps out in the front office and with marketing. Outside of work, Mindy enjoys playing Soccer, coaching gymnastics, and baking. ,
Mirinisa is an experienced COTA since 2014, with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. She has experience in many settings including intensive inpatient rehab, IL/AL/memory care, and outpatient neuro/ortho rehab. Mirinisa is LSVT and dementia care certified. Mirinisa has a passion for improving quality of life and returning individuals back to the highest level of independence possible. When not working, she enjoys rock climbing and baking bread.
Carla Aliea is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and graduated from Northland Community Technical College in MN where she received her associate in applied science. Carla has 15 years of experience in the field of occupational therapy and specializes in pediatrics. Carla is originally from Puerto Rico and is fully bi-lingual in Spanish and English. Carla enjoys spending time with family, traveling and shopping.
Lacey is our new speech language pathologist assistant. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2022 and is thrilled to start her SLPA journey here at Sharkks. She worked as a lead preschool teacher for the last 6 years and has a passion for helping others learn and grow. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling to Disneyland.
Kayleigh is our new Front Office Scheduler. Kayleigh is currently enrolled at GCC studying early education and brings lots of new ideas to our team. She has a positive attitude and is happy to help anyone who asks. Outside of that Kayleigh enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves all things sports. Her favorite teams are the Indianapolis Colts and Indianapolis Pacers as she is originally from Indiana.
Ashley is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who graduated from NAU in 2019. Since graduation, she has been striving to learn as much as possible to better serve her patients. Ashley has experience in orthopedic, neuro, vestibular, geriatric and worker’s comp rehab with a sprinkle of pediatric therapy. She is certified in Dry Needling and is able to perform cupping and myofascial techniques. It is Ashley’s goal to provide one-on-one individualized care to each patient. In doing so, she is able to provide patient-focused quality care that everyone deserves. She believes in a hands on approach by utilizing the manual therapy skills that she has come to learn and love. Ashley enjoys working as a team with each patient to achieve meaningful goals. In her down time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and three teenage boys hiking, camping, fishing and biking.
